Talofa,

My name is Sekati Filipo Maa Fiaui. A lot of people call me Rock or Rocky. Rock is an English name for my name Maa. I leave that choice up to you to decide which name you want to call me. I don't really care as long as you call me with one of the names i have listed above.

I am from the beautiful island of Samoa. It is about 24,000 miles south of Hawaii, or 6 hours plane trip. I was born there then raised up in New Zealand for few years, then my family moved back to Samoa and stayed there eversince. I left my family to serve a full time mission in North Carolina Raleigh Mission. I loved it with everything i had. I love it so much that my parents adopted my little sisiter and named her Carolina. I was the first missionary in my famiily. I don't have the time to tell you about all the experiences i have found on the mission, but i just want to say that I am very grateful for the decison i made to go on a mission and everything i do now are all related back to my mission experiences.

I was home for 4 months and then left to come to school here at BYUH during Spring of 2007. I am now studying Information Technology as a major, but i am taking this class because i have a lot of interest in doing this kind of things and I want to take IDD as a second major if i could. Both of this areas are greatly needed in Samoa. So my dream is to become as IT because Samoa is moving up. If everything goes well one of my goals is to be able to run my own business in the future. Moreover i also want to design websites and locals for companies mainly in Samoa and hopefully to go internationally. So my plan right now is to get a degree from BYUH; go back home and work, and after one year in Samoa I want to come back and do my Master Degree.

I also want to serve as a Seminary and Institude Co-ordinator or something of that nature inthe future. My greatest desire is to be able to help our young people back home to become the people the Lord wants them to be.
